Alsons Development and Investment Corporation (Alsons Dev) successfully held its annual Brigada Eskwela last June 9 to 13, 2025, mobilizing employee volunteers to help public schools prepare for the school opening.
As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, Alsons Dev partnered with four schools in Davao City and one school in Alabel, Sarangani:
- Cabantian Elementary School
- T. Awad Echevarria Elementary School
- Pilar P. Rodriguez Integrated School
- Tugbok National High School
- Francisco T. Laiz Sr. Central Elementary School
Volunteers took on tasks such as cleaning classrooms and school facilities, repainting chairs and walls, and refurbishing learning spaces to contribute to a more vibrant and conducive learning environment for public school students.
“Volunteering for Brigada Eskwela felt like the right thing to do, not just as a representative of Alsons Dev, but as someone who believes in the importance of education. It’s such a hands-on way to make a difference, represent Alsons Dev, and be part of something that brings real value to the community,” shared Ken, an employee volunteer.
This annual initiative reflects Alsons Dev’s long-term commitment to nurturing communities and supporting education.

Their support through materials and dedicated volunteers who repainted and beautified areas of our school helped us prepare for the new school year. Leonora Baro, teacher from T. Awad Echevarria Elementary School.
