With the goal to help business-owners gain access to affordably-priced and strategically located locations, Alsons Dev created the unit Alsons Commercial, with Aldevinco Shopping Center as its heritage project.
The Aldevinco Shopping Center was established and opened to the public in January of 1965 as Alsons Dev’s first project. A true testament to the company’s continuing commitment to the people, history and cultural legacy of Davao City, this 8,370-meter commercial space at the corner of C.M. Recto Street and Roxas Avenue became a lasting home for Mindanao artisan wares and indigenous crafts. With over 100 stores, artisans from all over the Philippines display colorful ethnic crafts, showcasing the distinct identities and incredible talent of the Filipino people. The shopping center draws tens of thousands of visitors annually, making it one of Davao’s most famous tourist spots.
