Arch. Alcazaren has over three decades of experience as an urban planner and landscape architect, earning him prestigious design awards from esteemed organizations, including the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects, the Kuala Lumpur City Council, and the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects. In 2002, he was named Outstanding Professional of the Year in Landscape Architecture and received the Philippine Federation of Professional Associations (PFPA) Excellence Award in 2009, recognizing him as one of the top ten professionals in the country across all fields. Alcazaren was also honored with the Gawad CCP Para sa Sining in Architecture and Allied Arts in 2015, highlighting his contributions to the industry.
The design firm he helms, PGAA Creative Design, has over fifty projects in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, and has earned multiple awards for its exceptional work. These awards include the NCCA Haligi ng Dangal Awards for Iloilo Esplanade and Ortigas Elevated Plaza & Walkways, the GantimPALA Merit Award for Be Grand Resort, and the Gold Award at the Good Design Awards Philippines for the Makati Urban Patios Project, to name a few. Furthermore, PGAA was responsible for the impressive designs of Summit Ridge Tagaytay, Capitol Commons, Bellevue Resort Bohol, and Hotel Intercontinental in Singapore.
