Everyone loves the holidays, but there’s no one who looks forward to Christmas more than kids. This is why at the unveiling of the Eden Ridge Christmas display last November 29, Alsons Development and Investment Corporation (Alsons Dev) invited the kids of Love the Children Foundation (LTCF), an orphanage in Marapangi, Toril, as their special guests.

To kick off the day’s events, Alsons Dev employees led by Vice President and General Manager Eric de la Costa organized a Fun Day for the young guests, which included activities such as parlor games and gift-giving at Eden Ridge’s Village Park.

A Thanksgiving Mass was then held, followed by the singing of Christmas carols, and the lighting of the Christmas display, which transformed the Norfolk pines surrounding Eden Ridge’s entrance into larger-than-life Christmas trees.

“One of the greatest joys of Christmas is seeing the excitement of children when they see their gifts under the Christmas tree. We are honored to be able to share the spirit of love and generosity with the children of LTCF. Moreover, we hope that this Christmas display represents the start of a new holiday tradition here in Eden,” says de la Costa.

The Eden Ridge Christmas display was spearheaded by Alsons Properties, the premier brand of Alsons Dev, as part of its #merriERchristmas campaign for the 9-hectare vacation home community in Eden, Toril.
De la Costa adds that: “Over the years, Eden has become one of Davao City’s favorite holiday destinations. We hope that with our Christmas display at Eden Ridge, we can help make everyone’s Yuletide season much brighter and merrier.”
